Not a Want, a Knee’d: This Season’s Knee-High Boots
We know the shift to the cooler weather sucks, but you can take shelter and refuge in this season’s biggest footwear trend, the knee-high boot.
This season the higher the boot, the closer to the fashion gods. Knee-high boots are back baby and we’ve scoured the Monde to bring you the best of the best when it comes to the high-end, mid-market and high-street.

Lets jump right in. When it comes to the knee-high boot yield this season brings in the high-end marketplace, boy oh boy is it an inspirational place.
The pair of footwear that actually inspired this whole article are these absolutely perfect baby blue pair of knee-high leather boots from Acne Studios. Featuring a contemporary square toe and mid-heel, these boots are funky personified and if I wasn’t currently saving the would be mine! They also come in this versatile patent black option if you’re afraid to have a little fun.
Another luxury pair of knee-highs that are gaining lots of notoriety within the world’s and words of fashionistas everywhere are this interpretation by New York institution, Khaite. The Davis 50 are a patent croc embossed leather dream which also feature a square toe and mid heel. The way they expertly hug the half are reminiscent of riding boots, but if riding boots could be worn on a runway. We’re utterly obsessed with these.
If the Davis 50 had a southern sister, it would be the Dallas Suede. Also a love child from Khaite New York, these white suede boots feature a classic western rounded top, and the same square toe.

Ok, let’s be real. The high-end category of such an exquisitely crafted and large chuck of leather boot is going to cost you a bit. So, if you’re not feeling like dropping a casual one and a half thousand, than the mid-market is a perfect place to sit.
When it comes to the contemporary brands bringing us heat in the knee-high boot game, there are plenty. A personal favourite are the uber cool denim pair from Parisian fashion house, Coperni. The Bridge Denim Knee-High Boots have an uber pointed toe, rounded mid and western top make it a boot that really says it all. Perfect to pair with a mini or even a baggy pair of boyfriend jeans tucked in, these boots are freakin’ cool and I won’t hear anything to the contrary.
For an option that’s a little less polarising, the Cosmos Knee-High Boot in Black by CAMILLA AND MARC are an investment piece that will fit into your wardrobe no matter your age. Crafted with a squared toe, mid heel and slightly slouchy silhouette on the calf. This little feature means you’re able to tuck relaxed silhouetted pants in, and aren’t restricted to just super fitted ones.

Thankfully, the high-street and accessible market aren’t shying away from delivering great options when it comes to this season’s knee-high boots.
A standout coming in hot are these denim checked standouts from ASOS. The Azalea Wang Embellished Stiletto Boots are the perfect amount of extra and the two tone denim is the ultimate versatile hue that works back with a casual outfit as well as a cute black number for a night out.
If you cant stop thinking about the divine Acne Studios boots featured way up but are still in shock about the price tag, may we offer a less-expensive alternative? The Lainey Boot by Billini is a very similar shape. Featuring a square toe, mid-heel and the iconic knee-high length, this retro-esque boot is certainly in style.
If you’re into more of a pointy boot, the black Aere Knee-High Leather Boot is a fantastic option. Coming in at a very reasonable $280, these all-leather options are of the quality and style to last you many seasons to come. In fact, this pair is so good you’ll be able to sport them all winter long, and then pair with a cute summer dress when 2024 rolls around. We don’t need to say that twice!
