Cooler Than Cold, Everything Ice Blue

As aforementioned, VOGUE contributers Talia Abbas & Madeline Fassi this month stated this upcoming Spring/Autumn season is “Icy blue everything (hardly an antidote to red, but a chance complement)”

Proven by the styles gracing the runway in the most recent fashion months, the likes of Givenchy, Stella McCartney to Proenza Schouler, have all jumped aboard the icy blue phenomenon we’re all about to collectively experience, and we’re telling you to follow suite.

The colour can be characterised by a blue very light in colour, and specifically one that has cool undertones. Think dusty blues, grey-blues and pastel hues, and you’ve got yourself our icy trend.

Now, the name might shock you into thinking Icy Blue is a strict winter trend, but, like all international colour trends, was born from the Northern Hemisphere and will be a trend in their Spring. Luckily for us in the Southern counterpart of the planet, there are a host of local brands jumping aboard this trending hue, just in time for our Autumn.
