This Ain’t Texas; Our Beyoncé Inspired Western Edit

The queen of pop, diva of all divas and one of the greatest performers of our time hails from Houston Texas, and whilst her Southern roots may not be so evident in her previous albums, she’s decided to dedicate number 8, entirely to country music. Beyoncé’s 8th studio album is set to be released March 29th, and with it a whole wave of western mania should absolutely ensue.

Since ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ graced our Spotify’s and ears about a month ago, there has been an obvious uptake in western-inspired goodies. That, coupled with the impact chrome cowgirl-inspired outfits for the Renaissance tour demanded, not to mention Taylor Swift’s cowgirl outfits for the ‘Era’s Tour, all signs are absolutely pointing to the fact that we’re all about to enter our Western era.

Thankfully, many Australian and global fashion brands have already identified this key trend for 2024, and a plethora of cowgirl goodies are currently available for your perusal!

To start somewhere seriously obvious, a pair of cowboy boots seems appropriate. I’ve got my eye on the cult-status iteration from GANNI, but if you’re not interested in bootscootin’ with a pair that expensive, these from ASOS Design seem just as ‘all-fired’.

No cowgirl should be seen at a Rodeo, or Rodeo Drive, without her western crown, AKA cowboy hat. I’m obsessed with how Beyoncé coded this one from Anthropologie is, but if you’re into something a little more classic, don’t skip this Brixton number from our friends at The Iconic.
