Phoebe Tonkin Adds her Flare to Rolla’s New Collection

Melbourne-born denim brand Rolla’s have this week launched another of their highly anticipated collaborations, this time with an it-girl who grew up a little closer to home. With quite the impressive list of collaborators thus far under their belts, Bella Hadid, Devon Lee Carson, Sofia Ritchie, the laid-back label invited our very own, Phoebe Tonkin, to add her own flare to the Rolla’s brand.

Australian expat who now calls Los Angeles home, you may know Phoebe Tonkin from the pages of Australia’s glossy fashion mags, her role in television series ‘the Vampire Diaries’ or you may even be one of the 8.4 million people who follower her on Instagram.

For Tonkin, this collaboration was a chance to create a range that speaks to both her laid-back Australian upbringing and her current Californian lifestyle “I loved revisiting my Australian roots working with Rolla’s, I’ve been wearing their jeans for years” Tonkin said of the partnership.

The 32-piece collection of denim basics and 1970’s inspired separates is the vivid dream we can’t help but want to live in. One of the standout pieces we think truly encapsulates Tonkin’s effortless, model-off duty look, is the Dallas Vest in Recycled Denim. A fitted shape that can be worn as a cropped top, or layers over a tee, dress or shirt.

It wouldn’t be a Rolla’s collection without the injection of corduroy, of which you’re spoilt for choice. The hero colour of the collection is rich and regal cobalt blue in the thick corduroy we’ve come to expect from the Melbourne brand, plus heritage tobacco and chocolate hues that simply goes with everything.
