Coloured Leather in Mind

Move over neutral tones and muted leather ensembles. From pastels to bright neons, here's everything you'll need to get you started with the Coloured Leather Trend.

From pastel blue cigarette pants to mustard yellow trench coats – it seems brands far and wide are jumping on the coloured leather bandwagon. As predicted – we are into it!

The trend’s genesis can be pinpointed to Spring SS20 Fashion runways which saw Givenchy and Louis Vuitton models dressed head to toe in coloured leather.

More recently, the environmentally sustainable push from using animal leather to vegan leather has created a bigger market for faux leather goods.

Many of our luxe brands have also switched to using Faux leather fabrics.

They are often lighter and easy to tailor, proving that the once heavy and awkward leather clothing is not just bound to winter wear.

Vibrant leather garments aren’t just a luxe thing, we have spotted a multiplicity of affordable brands following in the footsteps of high-end runways.

This never-ending list includes Dazie and Lioness, available on THE ICONIC, ASOS, Boohoo and Nasty Gal.

We understand that enrobing yourself in a cobalt blue blazer may be daunting, so we’ve included our favourite leather accessories – with Ganni’s Cross Body Bags as pick number 1!

Shop our coloured leather edit to get your hands on leather pieces in every colour of the rainbow.
