Victoria Beckham’s Emotional Paris Fashion Week Debut

Whether you heard about the significance of Victoria Beckham’s Paris fashion Week debut due to her guests, or due to her emotional reaction, it’s certain that the presentation went down as one of Fashion Month just past’s most memorable.

If you’re not yet caught up, over the past few months there has been a media storm surrounding the Beckham clan, apparently due to speculation of a falling out between the designer, her son Brooklyn and his new wife Nicola. Seemingly most rumours of feud were put to bed once the Peltz Beckham duo appeared at PFW in support of the designer.

The Spring Summer 2023 show was her first runway presentation since the pandemic, and her first not part of New York Fashion Week’s official program. Set in baroque Val de Grace church, the presentation was described as ambitious, dramatic and a bit sexy.

The front row was laden with stars there to support the former spice-girl. Hubby David sat beside Anna Wintour, and Edward Enninful of British Vogue was placed not far. Once the show was over, Beckham made an appearance on the runway, was met by a rupture of applause and accolades, and became visibly emotional. Commenting recently to Vogue UK, Beckham confirmed the moment was “a big deal for me”.

Since launching her eponymous label about a decade ago, Beckham has certainly had to work harder to gain the respect of her fashion colleagues. It’s now evident that the former performer was always destined to have an illustrious career in high fashion, and absolutely deserves to be taken very seriously.
