Another season of the tennis championship has gone by, but the tennis-core aesthetic tagging along is on trend as is every year.

The crisp and athletic look has been taking over Tiktok and Instagram feeds ever since the 2022 US open season was announced. Tennis-core captures the moment where modern athleisure and old-school country clubs meet. It is a niche trend yet so easy to achieve. You don’t need to be a star on the court to pull it off, it is super versatile.

If we were to summarise this preppy and active trend, it’s all about the A-line silhouette, polo tops and activewear sets. Suit yourself up with a lovely white dress, like the Polo Ralph Lauren sleeveless day dress and throw on a cosy cardigan and there you have your ideal tennis-core outfit for this spring. It’s no surprise that the American luxury brand Ralph Lauren is the epitome of this viral trend.

Now we can not forget the A-line skirt, the protagonist of this trend, yet let us spice up the look with some vibrant colours Nike offers. Pair that up with a cropped sports bra or polo. Complete the fit with a visor or cap, look like you are just fresh off the tennis court.
