Spring is looking a lot like pastel purple

Maybe it was Jacquemus’ lavender lined Provence Spring/Summer 2020 show, or the release of a rich purple, 18-3513 – Grape Compote, as a part of this season’s Pantone colours. Either way, we’ve been loving the light, dusty purple shades appearing on the runways and in the streets this season. Soft purple tones appeared throughout fashion month and in street style around the world. And if Pantone’s predictions are right, purple might just take over pink for the most Instagrammable colour this season. Go head to toe lilac, or inject a pop of purple into an outfit with a pastel-coloured pair of sunglasses, strappy sandals, handbag or in a fun purple print.
