While building a contemporary furniture brand with an appreciation for modern living started as an ambitious dream, it is one the duo has excelled at. In the past 20 years, HAY has successfully produced functional and aesthetic designs and become a clear standout in the home living arena.

Many of the pieces created are also to the credit of some of the world’s most talented designers, as HAY works alongside multiple leading innovative designers to create the pieces. The brand has also received multiple design awards, with some pieces even kept in art museums.

HAY’s latest collections include a collaboration with Rietveld Originals for a Crate Collection, French designer Inga Sempé’s Matin lamps, and Copenhagen-based Wang & Söderström’s candle holders.

The unique W&S candle holders are inspired by the space where digital and physical forms meet, and it is no surprise that when placed inside your home they could only be described as miniature pieces of art.
