Bringing his luxury flare to the Japanese powerhouse that is UNIQLO, Artistic Director Chistophe Lemaire has once again proven that simple elegance is achievable at any price-point.

UNIQLO U is a twice a year only collection, that is always highly anticipated and sought after. Standing as a super-refined curation of t-shirts, knitwear, pants, outerwear and more, Lemaire has certainly delivered this season.

For Spring/Summer 2020, we’ve been presented with a series of ‘Future LifeWear’ essentials, translating to everyday basics have been executed with the highest precision. References to traditional workwear are present in outerwear silhouettes. Perfect throw on jackets and parkers for the cooler evenings are sure to get a workout this spring.

Classics like denim and chinos are translated into a truly contemporary fashion. When speaking to contemporary, what would a UNIQLO collection be without a little satire? Personal favourites are the 1980’s knitted long sleeve polo shirts, and the Seinfeld-esque Cuban shirt.

Reining true to UNIQLO’s DNA, you’re absolutely spoilt for choice when it comes to the colour options. This time around, Lemaire has opted for an on-trend blend of muted tones and earthen hues, that perfectly marry in a symphony of effortless cool. Excitingly, a small capsule of bags and a sandal have also been included in the collection. Accessories for the modern man who likes to keep it simple while keeping it real.
