Brand Spotlight: Aje

We are well and truly in an era where Aje can do no wrong, and here at Monde we love to see it.

Since being founded in 2008 by best friends Adrian Norris and Edwina Forest, Australian fashion house Aje has continued to evolve and make a name for itself on the global stage.

While Aje’s unique artistic masterpieces may naturally change from season to season, one thing remains the same and that’s the designers dedication to raw beauty, tough femininity and effortless cool.

Balancing statement pieces with simplistic designs has always been Aje’s forte, and this was once again witnessed at Melbourne Fashion Festival. Gracing the runway on day one at the Utopia Runway, Aje showed off their whimsical Summer ’23 ‘Lumen’ collection, which was a notable standout during New York Fashion Week just months earlier.

An additional creative partnership with shopping and retail app LTK, also means the best Aje looks donned on the runway and on LTK Creators in the crowd are only a click away from being in your wardrobe. Which means no more endless searching for an outfit you only caught a glimpse of; a win-win.

The colour-induced collection is everything that makes you want to fall deeper in the love with the brand. From signature exaggerated sleeves to strong tailoring, mini dresses, structured vertical pleating and voluminous skirts, Aje continues to captivate.

Stand-outs, while hard to pick, are found in the simple yet eye-catching Eldora ruffle-neck mini dress, the elegantly divine Evangeline Cornelli maxi dress and the fabulous ‘here to party’ Rhythmic frayed ruffled satin mini dress.

But, while Aje does statement block colours well, it is worth mentioning that the intricately designed Celestial pleated organza mini dress is also proof that Aje is in a league of its own.
