Bond No. 9 Brand

Bond No. 9 was created and founded by French born and educated Laurice Rahme in 2003 as an olfactory homage to the great city of New York. Turning perfumeries on their head, the fragrance collection, Bond No. 9 – which is the address of the company headquarters in NoHo. Each scent – for women, men and in unisex form – represents a specific downtown, midtown or uptown locale and sensibility. Rahmé began her professional life as an antiques dealer in Paris before the travel bug hit. Reflects Rahmé; “At that time one job you could get as a young girl in Paris who wanted to travel was in the beauty industry.” In the early 1970s, she joined Lancome and relocated to America before meeting Annick Goutal who hired the French-woman as Partner and President of operations. With an eye on restoring a sense of artistry to perfume production and distribution, Rahme launched Bond No. 9 with each fragrance bearing the iconic “I Love NY.”
