Angelic Makeup Look 101
Get that divine glowing makeup look.
Tik Tok's latest sensation, angelic makeup, combines a crying girl look with soft glam. The divine celestial aesthetic leaves a glitzy finish, built on the Chinese makeup style Douyin, and characterised by celestial glistening skin, delicately flushed cherub cheeks and luminous highlights. Seen and attempted by TikTok creators like @jellybean__xxdd, @nazliayunus, @cczuleighka and @hayleybuix, here's how to achieve the angelic makeup trend from home.

Step 1: A Glowy Skincare Routine
It goes without saying that a fabulous skin base is the key to achieving any makeup look, including the angelic makeup look. Your angelic look will begin with freshly cleansed skin, followed by hydrating serums, creams, and primers to enhance your inner glow and provide a smoother canvas for the next steps.

Step 2- Rock a luminous foundation and concealer base
Next, apply an eye-catching luminous foundation to give your skin a glowing appearance. An angelic tip? Mix luminous drops or highlighting drops with your base to make your skin glisten and glow.
This Nabla Skin Realist Tinted Balm is perfect for a no-makeup makeup base; its formula contains hyaluronic acid provides lightweight coverage and a glowy and even finish, and hydrates your skin at the same time. This is one of my favourite light foundations.
You can add an extra glow to your foundation by mixing the Saie Glowy super gel drops. You can accomplish this by adding a few drops to the foundation and applying the mixture with a foundation brush.The dreamy champagne gold shade ‘Starglow’ is perfect for a natural glow that suits all skin tones.
Get the Best Skin Ever Glow 12 hr moisturising Liquid foundation if you’re looking for a foundation with glowing particles already in it. Suitable for all skin types, it creates a luminous, moisturised skin tone with a lightweight design, medium coverage and light-reflecting pigments to give the skin a glow and smoothness.
Step 3- Get your glow on with blush and highlighter
The blush and highlight are some of the coolest features of the angel look, go for a blush shade that is soft pinkish and reminiscent of angelic cherubs.
If you’re using a cream blush, apply some to the centre of your lips (it can be used with powder blush as well).
With the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, you can achieve a natural second-skin finish and a healthy flush. In addition, the makeup look features two dots of Happy, a gorgeous cool pink shade with a touch of angelic radiance.
It is easy to achieve this look with a powder blush, such as NARS Cosmetics Blush. It gives a healthy colour. Orgasm is one of the prettiest shades for this look. Make sure to blend your blush across your cheeks, nose, and cheekbones for a lifted look.

Apply this highlighter to the top of your cheekbones, nose, and eyes to add to the shimmering heavenly vibe. It’s a fantastic idea to apply this with a Kabuki brush. For that angelic finish, we recommend the shade ‘How many carats?‘. This highlighter is a godsend. It features an original jelly powder formula that melts into the skin like butter. It’s glittering and diamond-like and leaves you feeling so angelic.
Step 4- Glittering eyes
Make your eyelids look angelic with a sheer layer of glitter or shimmer. One way to do this is by applying glittery eyeliner from the inner corner of your eyelid to the middle.
Applying your blush or using your blush as a base for your eyeshadow look is another option, or you can copy @jellybean__xxdd’s eyeshadow look.
With the Natasha Denona Glam Palette, she applies the smoke shade to the outer corner of her eye like a smoky liner. She uses inner corner shade from her inner corner towards the smoked-out outer corner, then blends using the blend shade under her smoked-out eye and her crease.
To prevent glitter fallout, use NYX Professional Makeup’s long-lasting glitter primer. Use an ethereal product like NYX Professional Makeup Metallic Glitter in Goldstone for an ethereal effect.
If you love false lashes, apply some lash glue and let your false lashes dry for 30 seconds before applying your false lashes (such as Ardell DUO Brush-On Striplash Adhesive in Clear ). A natural fluffy lash or half lash, such as the Ardell Natural Demi Lash, is recommended for this look.
Step 5- Laminate those brows, gloss your lips and set your face
Complete your heavenly look by brushing up your brows and filling in any sparse areas with a brow pen.
